Raquel is our up and coming stylist here at Kreate! She has worked through our intense Kreate Education program to build a career for herself at our salon. She started doing hair in 2017 and working closely with Ken early in her career has set her up with an amazing skill set along with a great client base. She sees a wide variety of guests and her love for each and every one of them shows in her work and her attitude. Today, we want to congratulate Raquel on how far she has come. She has achieved amazing things and because of her hard work she is being promoted!

You may ask how do you get promoted as a hair stylist? When a stylist continuously beats their goals and hits every benchmark, like Raquel has this year, they deserve to be rewarded! There are several levels of stylist starting at New Talent 1 going all the way up to Elite Stylist. Raquel is moving up to the next level as a New Talent 3! This means that she will soon earn the title of Signature Stylist and finish her fellowship program here at Kreate. Her promotion includes a price increase that will set Raquel up for even more success in her career! This is an amazing step for any stylist and we hope she continues to grow in to the incredible stylist we know that she is!

Raquel has reached this milestone in her career by continuing her education. Our partnership with Aveda has given her the opportunities and resources to continue to learn and grow as a professional. Not only is she trained in Aveda color but she has completed many virtual classes along with self-guided learning through Aveda. She has attended the virtual Texture Talk with Renee Gardar to expand her knowledge on working with different hair types. She has also completed classes on the NEW Nutriplenish and Botanical Repair lines with Aveda. She has gained badges on Aveda Pure Pro through self guided education such as the Cherry Almond Champion Badge, the Know It All badge and the Star Product Expert badge. Raquel is also Keratin certified and has recently received training in Easi Length Professional Hair Extensions and now offers this service!

Rachel Horton

Signature Stylist, Educator

Rachel is one of our most successful stylists here at Kreate! Her passion for her craft is shown in her work and her love for her clients. Rachel started doing hair in 2010 and has built an amazing career for herself. Her list of specialties and certifications goes on and on.

Rachel’s talents are shown most in her hair color skills. She is well rounded in many blonding techniques like balayage and baby light. She has trainging in Aveda hair color along with Lakme, amonia free hair color. She does glossing, grey blending and so much more.

Rachel has been certified in Keratin Natural Smoothing Treatment and Keratin Express Blowout Treatment. She also offers Olexplex treatments and will soon offer the NEW Aveda Botanical Repair treatment. Rachel has training in Easi Length Professional Hair Extensions and is also our go to stylist for facial waxing here at Kreate. Rachel has also been published is Modern Salon and had training in New York.

Over the years Rachel has made a name for herself at Kreate as an in salon trainer and educator. All of our new assistants studying to take on a career as a hair stylist train one on one with Rachel. She teaches with passion and drive to set up all of our new talent for success in their careers. New talent stylists that make it through her vigorous training learn to be amazing young professionals that love their craft just as she does.

Rachel is the best hair stylist I’ve ever gone to. I’m very picky and opinionated, but we have had my hair go on a journey. From color correcting my orange hair, to completely cutting it all off, and adding extensions! She does it all!! The only salon where I feel excited to come in and not just another head of hair!
